Hi, my name is Marli, I’m from Brazil but I’ve been living in Spain for 20 years.

I want to tell you a little bit of my story. In the year 2007, I opened the doors of my house to a small group of students from the United States who came to study a semester in Spain.

It was such an incredible experience, that ever since then, my life has been to take care of students as if they were my own children. In the beginning, I only took care of one small group at a time, but over the years I had to ask for help since the number of students requesting to be under my care has exploded.

I have worked hard all these years to establish Marli House. In our homes, students only worry about studying. Everything else my team and I take care of. To sum things up, it’s been a great 10 years of receiving students from all over the world in my home, and I look forward to many more. That’s how Marli House was born.
